KAKURO
Kakuro is the latest puzzle craze sweeping the world. If you love Sudoku you'll love Kakuro. This fun and entertaining puzzle combines logic and maths. Kakuro is sure to delight you and give your brain some exercise. Solve a Kakuro and you will be hooked.
For first time puzzlers we have included an easy-to-follow 'How to solve' and a printable version of the Kakuro Blocks, which all Kakuro puzzlers find handy.

To solve Kakuro fill the squares using the numbers 1 to 9, making sure that they add up to the number attached to each row, without repeating a number.
How To Solve KAKURO
The numbers given in a Kakuro are like clues. Each is a total to a sum and you have to work out which numbers add up to the total to fill the blank squares.
Sounds easy, but each answer has to fit in with the other sums around it.
• Only the numbers 1 to 9 can be used.
• Each number can only be used once in each sum.
• Some combinations have only one solution. They are called KAKURO BLOCKS.
Use the Kakuro blocks to help you solve the puzzle. For example a total of 4 in 2 squares is a KAKURO BLOCK. It can’t be 2 + 2 because each line of numbers can contain only one of each numeral. So the two squares can have only 1 or 3, though you don’t know in what order the 1 and 3 go until you look at the other sums around them. KAKURO BLOCKS are essential tools for solving Kakuro puzzles. Use the KAKURO BLOCKS to find possible combinations to help you solve these puzzles.
