Love crosswords, love reading
I thought the original BIGCash crossword was much easier to do than the current ones. I love all your crosswords and enjoy doing them. May you continue to do them for a very long time.

Margaret’s Mega poem
Another crossword, just for me.
Oh yes! I stop, and solve a clue,
With heaps of washing still to do.
My weeds all laugh, and win the race
To fill my vegetables place
But yet! Fear not, the chores will stay
I’ll leave them for another day.

Unusual words list helps with Mega Stinker
Congratulations on the launch of Mega.Over the years I have compiled a ‘dictionary’ of unusual words and they are now in a tabbed folder divided into 3 letter words, 4 letter words etc up to 12 letter words and two further sections for ‘People’ and ‘Places’ each section in alphabetical order.
This is invaluable and grows steadily – particularly after the MEGA STINKER although of course I await publication of the answers to confirm mine before inserting them.
Thank you for many years of Lovatts; I am sure MEGA will take off successfully.

A question of colour
I have just received my Christine’s BIG crossword book for May 2009 and whilst doing the Diamond crossword I found the clue (violet antiseptic). Your answer was “iodine”. Well iodine is Yellow/Brown. The violet antiseptic is (or was when I was a child, a long time ago) Condy’s Crystal. It has a violet colour.
Would love to hear where you got your answer.
